TIMMINS - A four-week blitz cracking down on people wanted on outstanding warrants led to dozens of arrests.
From Jan. 28 to Feb. 23, Timmins Police says it focused on finding people identified as a priority by the Crown Attorney's office. It meant that officers on regular patrol duties were keeping an eye out for the wanted people.
During the initiative, 69 people were arrested.
Police say they remain committed to arresting wanted people with outstanding warrants and bringing them before the courts.
