There's a heightened police presence west of Timmins as police search for a man last seen on Friday.
Rene Blais, 57, was last seen at the Old Mill Campground west of Timmins around 1 p.m. on Sept. 1. He was driving a 2017 Polaris Ranger UTV XP 1000 with the Ontario licence plate #OJN44.
Today (Sept. 3) multiple OPP units are in the campground area to search for him. Police say the family is concerned for his well-being.
The crews on scene include a helicopter, the emergency response team, and the snow vehicle, all-terrain vessel enforcement (SAVE).
Blais is described as a white male who is 6'1" tall with a medium build. He has salt and pepper hair, an owl and eagle tattoo on his chest and an angel tattoo on his back.
