Two drivers were transported to hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries following a head-on crash Friday morning on Highway 11 in Val Rita just west of Dagenais Road.
Members of the Kapuskasing Ontario Provincial Police, Kapuskasing Fire Department, Val Rita Fire Department, and Emergency Mtdical Services (EMS) responded to the scene of the collision around 10 a.m., according to a news release. Police are looking for witnesses as The North East Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement and Technical Collision Investigators continue the investigation.
Highway 11 remains closed between Kapuskasing and Hearst.
