TIMMINS - Police are looking to talk to people were near the Mattagami River boat launch on Tuesday, but aren't sharing details on what's being investigated.
Timmins Police says the criminal investigations unit is looking into an incident that happened on Sept. 3 in the area of Feldman Road and Commercial Avenue near the boat launch.
Police want to talk to people who were around there between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. that night.
The nature of the investigation is not included in the news release.
"I understand that the information given is vague, but due to the ongoing investigation - that’s all we can release at the moment," said Michelle St. Louis, Timmins Police communications co-ordinator.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity during the timeframe noted is asked to call police at 705-264-1201.
