A RIDE spot checkpoint on June 16 by North Bay OPP  resulted in the arrest of four people from Timmins.

Tuesday afternoon a vehicle with four people in it approached and stopped for officers who immediately began an investigation into the impairment of the driver.  

Police seized drugs suspected to be methamphetamine and cannabis.  

The four occupants, all from Timmins, have all been charged.  

Chadeem Bailey, 30, is charged with:

  • Four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Possession for the Purpose of distribution

Ethan Diamond, 22, is charged with:

  • Four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking 
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5.000
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession for the purpose of distribution

Jamie Lynn Robitaille, 33, is charged with:

  • Four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking 
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possession for the purpose of distribution

Kayla Sutherland, 33, is charged with:

  • Four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession for the purpose of distribution

All four have been held pending bail.
