COCHRANE - A teen is one of two facing charges after police seized stolen property and a gun executing a search warrant.
On Nov. 13 around 10 a.m., several James Bay OPP units searched a residence on Concession Road 8&9 in Cochrane. Officers found stolen property and a gun.
Two people were arrested.
A 24-year-old Cochrane resident is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and mischief - renders property useless.
A 14-year-old from Cochrane whose name can't be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, mischief - renders property useless, and failing to comply with a sentence.
Both of the accused were released from custody after a bail hearing and have court dates in December.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
