Ross Beattie and Timmins Police played a friendly game for charity this week

TIMMINS - Local students were centre court with the police this week.

Ross Beattie Senior Public School basketball players tipped off against members of the Timmins Police Service for a fun, festive game.

The students narrowly won the game 44-42. The real winner of the game was the Timmins Food Bank, as the students collected cash and non-perishable food items to donate to the organization.
