A playground in Matheson is getting new equipment.
Over the next couple of weeks, the Township of Black River-Matheson says that the equipment at the Poplar Park playground is being removed.
"Once the removal is complete, the equipment will be replaced by new safety-approved equipment," reads a township news release.
For the project, Matheson received a $75,000 grant from the Canada Health Communities Initiative through the Community Foundations of Canada and the federal government.
