All regular and March Break programming at the library and museum has been suspended due to COVID-19.
The Timmins Public Library and Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre made the announcements this afternoon.
"As a precaution to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and in support of the province's efforts to promote social distancing, the Timmins Public Library has suspended all programming at both branches until further notice," reads a news release from the library.
Both library locations are open during regular hours.
At the museum, curator Karen Bachmann says all programs, workshops and special events are also suspended.
"All March Break activities at the museum (including Digital Creator programmes and TSO music camp) are cancelled," she said.
