The Police Retirees of Ontario Incorporated has launched their annual fundraising campaign to support children in need. The P.R.O. Teddy Bear campaign is primarily a telephone campaign with the goal of raising funds for the distribution of teddy bears to assist emergency services personnel and children’s organizations.
The bears are donated to various organizations to provide comfort to children that are going through traumatic situations.
While this program is not affiliated with the Timmins Police Service, we would like to advise the public of the fundraising initiative, should residents receive a call from the organization.
