The Connaught & District Pioneer Museum will have a new exhibit on display beginning Aug. 13 and continuing to the end of the month.
The exhibit, with over 30 pictures, will focus on the preparation in 1937 and the step-by-step construction and completion of the first Frederick House Dam in 1938.
Restoration on the alligator boat is still moving forward, with much work already being done, the museum said in a release.
The museum said due to unforeseen circumstances new hours at the museum will be in effect for the rest of the summer.
Hours are noon to 4 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday.
