TIMMINS - One person was injured in a shooting on Third Avenue.
Early on Friday, Dec. 13, Timmins Police say multiple shots were fired during a confrontation between two people. One person received non-life-threatening injuries and went to the hospital on their own, said police in a news release today.
Police believe the people are known to each other, though the motivation behind the incident is not known.
Third Avenue was closed between Pine and Cedar for the investigation on Friday.
The police investigation is ongoing and investigators are examining video surveillance from the area.
