A pop-up COVID-19 testing centre is being held near downtown Timmins today.
A walk-in assessment centre is running today (June 2) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 316 Spruce St. S.
In a Facebook post, Timmins and District Hospital said the pop-up assessment centre is to remove barriers to testing. No appointment is required to attend.
To use the clinic, bring your health card or government ID, wear a mask at all times and respect physical distancing.
People who prefer to book an appointment for testing can call the Ross Avenue assessment centre at 705-267-0224. Leave a voicemail and calls will be returned within 48 hours.
COVID-19 vaccines are open to people 12 years and up for clinics using the Pfizer vaccine. A list of upcoming vaccination clinics is available here.
