MARTEN RIVER - Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on Highway 11.
On July 9 around 6 p.m., the North Bay OPP received several calls involving a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11, near Bidwell Road, approximately 55 kilometres north of North Bay.
The lone driver, a 72-year-old, from Trout Brook, N.B., was pronounced dead at the hospital.
District of Nipissing Paramedic Services and Marten River Fire Department attended the scene and the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) Team is assisting with this ongoing investigation.
The highway is open, motorists can obtain road conditions by calling 511 or visiting the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) website at 511on.ca.
