HEARST - A driver suffered life-altering injuries in a head-on crash between two transports on Highway 11.
The collision involving two commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) happened on Saturday, Nov. 30 around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 11 about 18 kilometres west of Hearst, said James Bay OPP in a news release.
One driver brought to the hospital with serious, life-altering injuries. The passenger of that vehicle and the driver and passenger in the second CMV received minor injuries, said police.
Highway 11 was closed in both directions for about 10 hours for the investigation, which the OPP's traffic incident management enforcement (TIME) team is helping with. The Ministry of Environment also responded to the scene.
Police say more updates will be provided when available.
