KIRKLAND LAKE - The Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) held their annual Fill a Cruiser for the Holidays food drive on Oct. 30, 2020.
Our goal was to collect 1,200 lbs of food donations, and we are very pleased to share that our total amount collected was nearly 2,500 lbs and over $2,500 in cash donations.
We would like to thank everyone who generously donated to this cause and for supporting our local Salvation Army Food Bank.
We would also like to thank the owners of Pettenuzzo's Your Independent Grocer (YIG) and the Kirkland Lake Giant Tiger and for hosting us. We would also like to thank the Gold Miners Junior "A" hockey club players who volunteered their time and assisted us with this event.
