KIRKLAND LAKE - One person is facing charges after an armed robbery earlier this month.
Kirkland Lake OPP says the incident happened on Jan. 4. Around 2 a.m., police were called to a robbery at a Station Road residence.
"The caller reported that three people broke into an apartment, assaulted the caller and three others within the apartment, then fled the scene," said police in a news release.
The victims received minor injuries and declined medical help, said police.
A 36-year-old woman from Kirkland Lake is charged with:
- Break and enter dwelling house - commit indictable offence
- Robbery with a weapon
- to comply with probation order
- Disguise with intent
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
The accused was released from police custody after a bail hearing. They're slated to appear in court again on Jan. 30 in Kirkland Lake.
Police continue to look for the other two suspects.
