Police investigating Highway 101 crash between pick-up truck, tractor-trailer (updated)

UPDATE: 

Highway 101 West has reopened after a crash between a pick-up truck and transport, says Police. 

Two people who were in the pick-up truck are in hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The commercial motor vehicle driver has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.

ORIGINAL STORY:

TIMMINS - A crash early this morning is affecting traffic in the west end of town. 

Timmins Police is at the scene of a crash involving a pick-up truck and a tractor-trailer near the intersection of Kamiskotia Road and Highway 101 West. It happened around 6:45 a.m. today (Dec. 3). 

Highway 101 is closed between Jaguar Drive and Government Road South. 

Detours are in place. 

Westbound traffic should take Jaguar Drive, Mahoney Road and Kamiskotia Road, while eastbound traffic is detouring on Government Road South to Riverside Drive.
