Police looking to locate ATV driver who didn't stop for officers

He caught their attention by not wearing a helmet, then allegedly committed other driving offences

The Timmins Police is seeking public assistance in their efforts to identify and locate an ATV operator who failed to stop for police as legally required and then proceeded to commit a series of other driving offences in order to evade the police.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at approximately 2:10 in the afternoon on Haileybury Crescent in Porcupine.

The male person operating the ATV first garnered police attention for not wearing a proper helmet as is legally required.

The suspect fled from police while operating a red ATV while wearing a bright yellow coat and a black hat.
