Four people have been arrested after an incident in Timmins this morning.
Timmins Police has issued an advisory warning people of a "heightened police presence". A location for the incident is not provided.
Four people have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing, said police.
"At this time, there is no perceived threat to public safety. The Timmins Police Service assures residents that the situation is under control and additional details will be provided in a forthcoming comprehensive media release," reads the news release.
"The Timmins Police Service appreciates the co-operation and understanding of the community as they continue to investigate this matter. Further updates will be communicated as soon as they become available."
