The Timmins Police Services Board, in collaboration with the Timmins Police Service, is excited to announce the launch of a public survey as part of the development of the 2023-26 Strategic Plan. This initiative aims to involve community members, organizations, and stakeholders in shaping the future of policing in Timmins.

With community safety as a top priority, the Timmins Police Services Board recognizes the importance of hearing from the public and incorporating their perspectives in the strategic planning process. As the Chair of the Timmins Police Services Board, Kraymr Grenke emphasizes the need for community input: "This is a pivotal moment where we have the opportunity to shape the direction of our police services and ensure they meet the evolving needs of our diverse and dynamic community."

The strategic plan will establish a clear vision, measurable goals, and objectives that prioritize efficiency, effective management, innovation, and transparency. By engaging the public, the Timmins Police Services Board aims to ensure that community safety becomes a collective effort where the voices and aspirations of the community are at the forefront of policing efforts.

Members of the public are encouraged to actively participate in the strategic planning process by completing the public survey. The survey, available online until Aug. 4, 2023, at 11:59 pm, allows individuals to contribute their perspectives, suggestions, and aspirations for a safer and more inclusive Timmins.
