Timmins suspicious death now a homicide investigation, victim identified

TIMMINS - Police have identified the victim of a homicide in Timmins. 

Up until today, Timmins Police have been investigating the incident at a residence in the area of Algonquin Boulevard and Preston Street as a suspicious death. 

A post-mortem was done yesterday (March 20) and police say it has been upgraded to a homicide investigation. The victim is 57-year-old Paula Mallette of Timmins. 

Cops are asking for dashcam footage from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 18 in the area of Algonquin Boulevard West between Preston Street and Rea Street North.
