KAPUSKASING - A teen driver has been charged after drifting their truck out of a gas station.
On March 1 around 3 a.m., James Bay OPP saw a pickup truck leave a Government Road gas station parking lot and drift. It drifted across both lanes, doing a complete 360-degree spin in the middle of the road, said police.
The vehicle was pulled over a short distance away.
An 18-year-old from Kapuskasing is charged with driving a motor vehicle - perform a stunt, intentionally spinning the vehicle or causing it to circle without maintaining control.
The accused appears in a Kapuskasing court on June 24. Their licence is suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
