(TIMMINS) The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident on the strength of an Arrest Warrant which was executed in a north end residential neighborhood of Timmins during the early morning hours of Tuesday, Sept. 22 by the Timmins Police Service.
Responding to a call regarding a suspicious person lurking in the residential area of Hemlock Street, a Timmins Police Service officer located a female subject at 3:55 a.m. at an adjacent intersection and matching the description provided to the police.
Further investigation revealed that the subject was a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Natasha Koostachin, 31, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
She remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for tomorrow morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to charges stemming from a previous incidents resulting in the Arrest Warrant being issued for her arrest.
